Description
The first of many tapestries co-created with my 12 year old daughter for our “Wild Mother, Wild Daughter” project.
We are very excited to be working on these weavings in partnership. We dream into them together, deciding beforehand on a color palette and then each spending time with the loom, trusting one another’s process and being led forward from where the other finished off.
This Tapestry has been named “Equinox” by my daughter, feeling into the shifts and changes of the different techniques we chose, along with the earthen tones of greens and whites from snow to new growth, the earth that lays beneath and the flowers waiting to bloom, and that place of balance where they all meet.
20in x 15in
